why they all have scars

ok so.. Nyx is an alien, right? So nyx lived on a diff planet.The life that inhabited the planet are called 'Zex' (What nyx is, the cat looking creatures). And these Zex are.. well.. There very addicted to.. War The zex are born as natural warriors, and then are trained most of their life to improve this.Mainly in guns but some are different and train in knives or spears.So their planet is ALWAYS getting into war with others, pillaging ,enslaving the life forms, or completely destroying everything on that planet, then leaving it to rot.Sometimes they receive 'battle scars' and they actually like getting them because that shows how many fights they've won. They have never lost a fight, or been invaded themselves. Well, except once, the end of their planet. But thats another story.. (a lot of that info was unnecessary but i have a lot of info about Nyx's past i need to get off my chest)
