LinkThis is a bit of a vent anim, but I used to always compare my life to the swaying of the cattails at the pond we would drive 20 minutes to get to each week when i was around 9. I was always fascinated by them, and still am. My dad one day showed me If I took one, and shook it hard, I could release the seeds into the air, and up, up, and away they’d go! My life has been like the gentle swaying of the breeze on the cattails since my sister left for college in Australia 7 years ago. (And took MY cat Mentos with her) when my dad got sick, the wind picked up, steadied when I got a girlfriend, and ripped the cattails right off the stem when my dad died. My life, the cattail, hit many rocks, and bumps along the way, sadness, a big boulder, to depression, even bigger, to all out suicidal. The biggest mountain of all. But along the way, I scattered my seeds, to my family, friends, girlfriend, siblings, ppl online, pets, art, and more. They all gave me more confidence to start anew, as I’m doing with this new accou

LinkThough empty, cattail stem still drifted on the breeze of what could’ve been, hitting more obstacles, until finally shredding into nothing, I planted my roots in other places, and learned to live anew. Thank u all for being so supportive, luv u,
