Pearl's hair shined in the moonlight. She was walking toward the Washington park. The wind was freezing and blew in her face, she put her hands in her pockets and kept on walking. The rain was pouring round making her hoodie all wet and cold. She was finally in the park, it was nightime and only she was there. Cool. Her heavy breaths turned into vapor. She looked out over the park and for a moment saw a glimpse of white eyes from the slide. Pearl looked closer and a strange creature walked in front of her. She backed off in fear and made a scared squeak. The creature grinned with it's long and sharp teeth. Horns went up from it's head, it had a long, slimy, snake tail instead of legs. The arms of the creature was thrice so long as hers, from the back, eight, dark spider legs came out and made the ground shake. "Hullo, Pearl." the creature whispered with a cluckering and clean voice. Almost like a cat, if now cats could talk. Pearl stayed quiet of pure caution. "That's no-

-t very nice.. Don't you know any manners, lass?" the creature countinued with the unpleasant and croaking voice. It chuckled. "I'm Mortem. Why don't you come closer, mm?" Pearl shook her head and narrowed her eyes. Mortem looked at her for quite a while, just standing there. 1 minute went. 2 minutes. Pearl was about to open her mouth to say something, and just like that. The creature ran like the wind towards her, grabbed Pearl's head and pushed it into the open rib hole it had in it's chest, crushing her head, nice and slowly. Enjoying it. Pearl screamed loudly of terror. "Don't scream!" Mortem said angry and hissed. It ripped out her mouth from her face. The blood was flooding down into a river. Mortem had sucked all of her terror from her body. So it swallowed her alive. Crushing every living piece inside her. Pearl was dead.
