Nijikon (二次コン), from the English "2D complex", is the feeling or opinion that two-dimensional anime or manga characters are more attractive (visually, physically or emotionally) than real-life people. Currently this behavior has increased exponentially in an almost unnoticed way to society outside cyberculture, as this has gradually influenced users who accept their behavior within this but not outside, the reason is due to certain rules within the Internet community of not mixing the real life (IRL) with the Internet for which those individuals who present the schediaphilia do not show it to society due to different factors such as social rejection.
