Eventually, he started hanging around with a gang who took a liking to him. He grew up and once he reached 16, his parents kicked him out of the house and he lived in the apartment that his gang friends lived in. When an Empire robot had picked up one of his closest friends, the one who kept him sane through his parents' disapproval of his interests. He hopped on the back of the robot and stabbed it's circuits. It haywired and he and his friend fell to the ground. His friend fled, but robots surrounded him and imprisoned him. He became an indentured servant, seeing as the Empire saw him as not a big threat, and killing him would be below them. He's been struck to protecting the borders.
