So
Aromantic is a lack of romantic attraction, but not the lack of ability to feel love as a whole, such as platonic
Asexual is lack of attraction in a sexual/physical sense, but can still have romantic feelings for someone
You can be aro and still want to have sex, you can be ace and like people
They're not the same thing, and someone could be either or both.
I get defensive about this stuff because I'm ace, and either see no representation at all, or it's presented in the wrong way.
