i was learning Chinese and the teacher came up to me (i was so focused that i didn't know i was staring at her) and she came up to me and was 10 inches away from my face and she giggled and said "ni hao? are you awake?" The entire class was in laughter because they knew i was actually listening, staying focused (happened a week ago)
