Amaryllis spotted movement in the distance. Her pupils shrunk to slits as she focused on it far away. “Hmm. It’s a small rodent of some sort. Probably harmless.” She looked at the other sight see’er “Maybe you could go over there and take a look. see it clearer?”

Leier blinked as he opened his eyes. He was under his tree, in the shade of the hot blaring sunlight.
