So someone said “Speeches ain't that bad, it's just talking in front of people. You must be self conscious if you're afraid.” Like yeah ok, but look up “What’s it called when your afraid of public speaking” and this comes up: Glossophobia or speech anxiety is the fear of public speaking. The word glossophobia derives from the Greek γλῶσσα glōssa, meaning tongue, and φόβος phobos, fear or dread. Some people have this specific phobia, while others may also have broader social phobia or social anxiety disorder.
