That the story of my dog. She was with a kind old man but he died and left her and her brother without an owner. Soon, Poodle Rescue came and took Matthew away. Without a home or family, Nicole was sent to Animal Friends of the Valley. They kept her there for 2 years. One day, I and my sisters went to PetCo to look at the dogs because we were curious. When we saw Nicole we instantly fell in love.
After a week of begging my grandma to let us keep her, we went back to PetCo and adopted Nicole. Right now she is living with my family and our other dog. She is very energetic and loves her new home. I think that all of that struggle she went through was to get to us and for us be her forever family.
