Spade has had a long damn life. The reason he doesn't like seeing other people with guns/ things that shoot is because his dad shot his mom and brother in front of him (well we're already off to a dark start.) Being the idiot he is, he then obeyed his father until he snapped at the age 15 (he did this for 6 years) once he snapped, he wanted revenge for his family that he loved. So he stabbed his father in the chest once, he wanted to give him a chance. But he still paid for it, soon the police showed up to him crying in front of the almost dead body, his father was cursing at him, then the police telling them to "Take him away!" Although he didn't do anything as bad as his father did. Spade was soon put in hand cuffs and thrown into the back of a cop car, being the criminal he is, he knows how to pick locks. So he took.
