i need help for a backstory on why tannor went blind

So he Was Enjoy the sunset..He was staring into the sun for too long and when he fell asleep and woke up He was blind.
thats one to think about
i was thinking about maybe acid in his eyes or somthin
So, He ws walking in A Random place exploring...There was Acid in Above him It Dripped into his Eyes When he looked up?

maybe make it like he took something from someone, by mistake, and they shined a light in his eyes.

One night he was strolling through the dark woods and heard something in the bushes. He was curious about the noise so followed it. Then he found a very bright green emerald laying in the bushes, but a type of cat shadow with the same coloured eyes hopped in front of it and hypnotised Tannor. When Tannor woke up he couldn’t see anything but the same emerald green.
