LinkMeet Shannon! Carousel's roommate/adopted sister and Alan's mother! I'd be actually happy if she was doing okay.. but she is extremely sick. She was also forced to have Alan by a man who walked away later. The grey on her scales is a part of her sickness, a little like the old sickness "The Plague" in which the infected has area's that turn purple.. but her's is different. Her's is found to be incurable and is slowly killing her. Because of that, it made her thin and weak, unable to live on her own. Carousel once said that she didn't like her roommate because of her food getting eaten by Shannon, having to talk all the time and getting her hairbrush taken. Shannon eats a lot to get stronger, talks a lot because she want's Carousel to know a lot before she passes away, and the hairbrush because Shannon gets extremely fidgety.

Shannon: S-sounds like f-fun.. I guess.. if I could l-last long enough..
Laura: well make the m-most of it. That's what my m-mum did. Any p-plans?
Shannon: N-not really... Don't know if I can g-go anywhere though.. Carousel m-made rules..
Laura: your an a-adult aren't you? Who says s-she can tell you what to do.
Shannon: She says it's for m-my "protection" since I-I'm.. dying.. or s-something.
Laura: b-bull. You can do what you w-want. If I where dying I'd r-rather have some risks and g-go out with a bang. Your choice I s-suppose.
Shannon: sure.. *thinks: Carousel is gonna get so pissed.. I guess that doesn't matter.* y-yeah!
Laura: so what y-you want to do. We've got s-some sweet cafes round here, I dunno. Do you need a w-wheelchair? Well if y-you do I've heard the r-romeowisp just had a ramp I-installed.
Shannon: I might.. I-I don't get out much s-so I have a bit trouble walking, s-since I've gotten thinner and can b-barely balance..
Laura: o-ok. You have one? Although I t-think I've got one at my p-place if you don't.
Laura: well you c-can have my m-mums old one. I'll be b-back *leaves and returns with a wheelchair that is diffrent shades of blue and purples* t-tada!
Laura: *she points to the buttons* this one is go forward, this one is backward, this is turn left and this one is turn right
Shannon: I already t-took my pills this morning.. so we s-should be fine..
Laura: if you say so, a-although we should p-probably bring them just in case r-right?
Shannon: Carousel s-said she would be gone for 5 hours, h-hopefully I can get away w-with grabbing and g-going.. *she goes inside and grabs some pills on the counter, comes back out with a small blue container* back.
(Out cause they rn in her house right? Idk whatever)
Laura: *heads to the elevator* *opens it and holds it open with that hand thing*
Laura: well I s-suppose the cafe would be nice. *the elevator stops and she holds it open*
Shannon: I guess I d-do! *coughs really bad, stops and seems just fine*
Laura: ok. Now let's g-go before Carousel starts o-ordering us around.
Laura: *is still holding the front door open, a resident looks at them curiously*
Laura: *reaches the cafe* *a newly installed ramp leads up alongside the steps* w-welcome to the Romeo-wisp! *she walks up and holds open the door*
Laura: yeah it's n-new round here. I heard it was named after some c-cats.
Cashier: *after watching them for a bit she pulls ten bucks out of her purse, stuffs it in the cash register, and walks over with two drinks *sets it down* free on the house. *walks back*
Shannon: Cats? I l-love cats. Well, kinda h-have to.. my sister is o-one.
Laura: *she chuckles and flicks her ear* I'd say the feeling is mutual
Shannon: N-nope. I've just been talking with my boy and my sister about some stuff...
Laura: *chuckles sadly* I wish my b-boy would talk to me. I s-suppose that's my fault.
Shannon: better that t-than scaring your child by telling t-them you might die.. l-like I stupidly did..
Laura: well a-at least that gives them time to p-prepare. Children seem t-to like knowing things nowadays. *she swishes her straw around*
Shannon: I'm sure w-will loves you. Tough kid, but he'll figure it o-out.. I found out bout him t-through Carousel, don't think I-I was spying on y-you.
Laura: *chuckles sadly* my l-little Williams g-grown up without m-me. (o wait... lol his name would be Willia Williams except when she was married her name was Laura brown but still)
Shannon: *huffs* I can t-try to get him to t-talk to you.. but it w-wont be me..

Laura: no h-hes a Happy kid. He has his f-family, and I'll be t-there if he needs me. H-he deserves to c-choose for himself.
Mikey: *pops his head out of the back, waves, and heads back in*
Laura: t-thanks anyway. It's r-real nice of Carousel to let y-you live with her.
Shannon: Yeah.. w-well we had a p-promise thing.. she owed me s-something.. she watched h-her parent's die.. a few years later.. a-after Scratch went to study doctors ed; I-I convinced my father t-to adopt her..s-since then.. we did a p-promise.. that she would t-to.. do me a favor. S-she did me two.. She helped take care of Alan and me.. and I've been t-thinking about putting Alan up for adoption.. n-not for my sake.. but f-for his.. s-so I don't have to die and l-leave him w-when Carousel l-leaves... it's all for him...
