I think its okay to make an OC off of other people but if you begin to copy their artstyle THEN its bad lololol, i've made characters off of other artists (@Turmmie) and its okay because its just my own artstyle with an inspired OC of them!! :')

It would be ok, but ak is my avatar and this style is smth I've been worken on for 2 years, he's a cartoony version of me and i'm tryin to break the norms of most art styles of this era, in other words its kinda what makes me "unique" if u need a tip or two i'm down for giving some, what I would suggest is to find middle ground of something new and your art as of now and take features that stick out,thats what I did, thats kinda my deal lmao upper lips that pop out and makes it recognizable. as long as ur character is recognizable its a win! at least from what I know
