LinkThis isn't some in-character RP-ing, this is me answering questions about my characters.
You can also ask what each anim featuring them means, because they all feature some level of emotion and character motivation. And, while I believe that it is half what I meant and half what you saw, I also believe it can be helpful to see what the creator meant.
Is Emby the energetic, high-spirited one and Deebee the more serious one?
And were the names inspired by something?
It's Ellby, granted my cursive is awful.
Yeah, pretty much. Although Ellby can be a bit more shy and nervous in some situations, it's pretty hard to tell sometimes how she'll react.
And yeah, the original names were LB and DB, which are initialisms based on descriptions of the characters..
For this animation, it seemed Ellby was sad, and Deebee was trying to cheer up. He eventually did and she turned pink/cheerful again. This is how I saw it.
What did you make it to mean?
Exactly that. Deebee saw Ellby sad, and tried to get to be her usual cheerful self by acting how she acts to cheer him up.
