LinkSo, I pride myself on creativity with my art. I like to think that you wouldn't see anything I draw on anyone else's accounts.
I know that some people prefer normal looking stuff, I totally get it.
But when people do contests and say "creativity is the most important thing" and I lose to something normal looking, I totally understand it, it's normal and is a great design.
But mine was the most creative.
So I get really salty.

Dude, your art on Blackbear's contest was great, but I think mine, a pink dire wolf with pale yellow flower designs.
It looked kind of bad, but was objectively more creative than yours.
The judge can pick whoever they think should be the winner and if you can't take that then maybe you should make a contest of your own
Creativity doesn't have to be fireworks and rainbows being spat out of your nose. Creativity comes when you think hard and differently to other people.

I've held contests before, and I know how hard it is.
That's why I say it's just my personal opinion.
I just have very high standards for everyone.
I understand that I'm the prick in this situation. I just judge everyone really harshly.

The thing I'm not sure is getting across is that I do think the winning art is always amazing.
I just feel that a lot of it isn't the most "creative" based on my dumb opinions.
Everyone has different views on what they believe is more creative than the other. This is sort of like "seeing through the picture" so it's like the drawing is more than it makes out to be. Like the lyrics to a song can mean different things to different people.
You're right, I just have this weird sense of grandeur over my ideas.
