Vague: *Pawing the walls, watching as small particles of dust crumbled to the ground* This place is old... Puzzle: Maybe it was created with Ancient Magic that caused the water to act strange... Vague: *nods* And not fall down slopes... Puzzle: *glances to Vague* And instead travel only on level ground... Vague: *turns away from Puzzle, running his tail down the curved wall* Curious.

Vague: *speaking quietly under his breath, focused on attempting to find crystals* You never know. Puzzle: *cracks neck, trying to think of the reason for this tunnel* What could its purpose be... Vague: Maybe it was just built. Puzzle: *scoffing at his brother* Things aren't 'just built', they must have a purpose, no matter how small. Vague: *clicks his tongue, still no facing his brother*

Vague: *stays silent for several seconds, before inhaling sharply and making his way a little further down the tunnel* Puzzle: *looks after him sadly then turns back to Poppy, putting on a tight smile* And to think less than an hour ago he was actually smiling, Hm. *clicks tongue once, looking up at the ceiling* Do you think we'll actually find any crystals?

(Back~) Puzzle: *blinks slowly, thinking hard about his answer* Well, you know what siblings are like~ We get along sometimes, he's been smiling and laughing alot more recently but also... Several months ago, if you'd gotten him annoyed, he would've just made some sarcastic remark and then moved on. Now if you annoy him he... Well *nods down the tunnel* You just saw what he's like. Probably us just getting older and growing into different demons. If you're born a demon then you age and such and then become a demon of a certain... Thing. A guardian demon, lust demon, messenger and so on.

Puzzle: *nods then trots a little further down the tunnel* Huh, our elf-friend seems to have moved on.

Puzzle: If they've moved on then there's a small chance we'll even find them in this system of tunnels... And they've probably moved because the didn't need us anymore, otherwise they would've told us. *turns back to Poppy* Lets go after Vague then?

Puzzle: Lets hope so...*part of his lower body turns to wispy black smoke, allowing him to levitate off the ground with ease* Vague? Vague: *a mere speck in the darkness ahead, only his eye and the shine of his smooth fur (skin? Fake fur? I have no idea lmao) visible* Yeah?

Vague: *waiting for the two to catch up* No. All I could find were some raked claw marks in the stone, could've been from anything though. *cocks his head* Also the water moves faster here. Puzzle: *almost caught up to Vague* Maybe that shows how flat the ground is. Vague: Well it IS smoother.

Vague: It's also getting colder, but I feel no breeze... Still, could mean a way out like you said. *stretches then makes his way down the tunnel, straining his eye against the blackness* Puzzle: *squinting through his glass eye-piece* It seems to be getting lighter... Vague: Maybe. *also now squinting* Actually I believe it is...

Vague: It's coming from the ceiling, look. *nods ahead to a hole in the top of the tunnel, emitting a faint light, particles of dust swirling around* Puzzle: What's up there I wonder...

Vague: *stays still, almost right next to Puzzle but looking dead ahead* You can go first, brother~ Puzzle: *raises brow, following Poppy closely* Very well. Vague: *swallows, waiting at least ten seconds then, as if snapping out of a daydream, crawls up to meet Poppy and Puzzle on the other side. Blinking rapidly due to the change of light* Where-where are we now? *glancing about through a wincing eye*

Puzzle: It's... Misty. Vague: I'd call it fog. I can hardly make out anything. *shakes his head, causing a small cloud of mist to clear and reveal a smooth rock face to his right, making him jump* Puzzle: *sweeps away more fog uncovering grass beneath them and a smooth cliff-face to their right* Wonder how far up it goes. Vague: It isn't fit for climbing. Lets see what's ahead of us.

Vague: *smirks faintly* Foreshadowing something, Poppy~? Puzzle: *rolls eye* Quit it. Lets focus on finding out where the heck we are right now. Vague: *dramatically swoops his head to face Puzzle, blinking then walking along calmly at his brothers side* Puzzle: I still can't explain the tunnels though, what effect they had on the water and why. Vague: *sighing* Maybe wherever we are could give us a clue.

(Back~ ^^) Vague: Could explain the smooth rock. Unnaturally smooth, I mean. Puzzle: And the mist, it moved so... Easily? *wafts fog away from his face, eye flickering faintly, hardly noticeable*
