I do miss you every time you leave 😝

"Jared, who was it goddamn it?!" (Also technically Allice and Jared are related by law)

"No!" Zach grabbed his arm, not too tightly but tight enough to keep him in place. "This isn't a forgive and forget situation!"

(Also Mabel and Jacob are twins. Allice is Mabel's biological daughter, Wren is Jacobs adopted daughter. Wren and Zach are twins, Zach married Jared which makes Jared and Allice second cousins by law.)

"I can't just leave you alone." His transparent legs brushed the ground, he still hovered softly. "My soul is drawn to you."

Zach followed involuntarily. "You can't leave," he called, as he floated after him.

"I do." He flew around to face Jared, hovering backward as he walked. "I didn't have to come back. I was with my dad, and Amanda for the first time in years." He floated closer. "I came back because I missed you, because I knew you wouldn't survive on your own."

"I came back because I still love you."

"I want you to admit when you're wrong." Absently, he ran his fingers through his hair and just down his jawline. "And tell me what you've done." Teasingly close now.

"Clearly, since we're in the tower you built on the outskirts of a ruined city." He was slowly getting close, at this point their noses were touching.

"Is Chloe ok?" His brushed his lips just up against Jareds, not pressured enough for a kiss, but just enough for him to feel.

"I died for you two." His voice was so soft now only Jared could hear. "Kiss me like you missed me, Sunflower."

(I was actually quoting Deadpool 2 but ok XD) "What does it matter?"

(good, it's super bad for your innocent eyes) "Does it?" He placed his fingers gently on his jaw, and pulled him in, kissing him again, turning his head slightly so it was more passionate.

(Ok but I'm actually blushing talking to you rn) Zach placed his hands on Jared's hips, pulling him closer, kissing him harder.

Zach, out of breath and blushing hard, smiled softly. "I missed that," he laughed quietly.

"You've got to put things back to normal." His face turned serious again, almost apologetically. "Sorry, Sunflower."

"Like this." The voice called out from behind him, as he spun around Jacob Pittman placed his hand on his forehead and his eyes went white, taking control of Jared's memories and sending him into a blank eyed trance. "Sorry," Zach muttered. "But we gotta stop you."

The iconic five of Mabel, Jacob, Rayne, Erin and Thomas had quietly snuck into the tower to put an end to everything as soon as Zach had reincarnated. Mabel scooped a confused Jared up into her arms and they set off.

"Pardon moi, si vou plait, but we must do zomething, it iz our job," Erin apologized, and began to work as the others left. Jacob muttered under his breath, as he altered the memories of most of those who had been brainwashed, and Erin set to restoring the city.

(Back at Zach and Jareds old house) "Alright Jacob, Thomas, do your things." Thomas nodded, looping a metal bar around him, keeping Jared tied to the chair, and Jacob relinquished his hold on his mind.

"I'm sorry, but we can't." Rayne cut him off, speaking angrily in broad Russian. "Вы подвергаете ее опасности!" Erin, looking tired, translated. "You endangered everyone, we need to keep you here until your zanity haz returned."

"Let you go, and have you take the city over again?" Jacob laughed. "Not a chance, buddy."

Mabel scoffed, and beckoned the others to leave, leaving Zach and Jared alone.

"I can't." His eyes stared at the floor, his voice laced with guilt as he hovered in the room.

"We never said you were going to." Looking up, Zach glared at him. "They're out there, fixing the city that YOU destroyed." His eyes furrowed, and his lower lip trembled as he spoke. "I'm sorry to say that kiss meant nothing to me."

Zach's heart sank, his eyes filled with tears. "Fine," he spat. "You can sit here and die for all I care." He turned to leave, then turned back around and got up in his face. "If I truly mean nothing to you," he said, the hurt clearly showing in his voice. "Then why did you make me your family?" And with that he left, floating straight through the door.
