Personality: awkward, typical average gamer, insecure due to his luck hurting people, hates his talent except from when Nagito appears with his supportive attitude, and finally sucks at being supportive and upbeat when people are sad
Friends: Kazuichi, Chiaki, and Nagito (Nagito and Hajime are friends with benefits, and Nagito at first is a bottom until all his problems are solved cuz he's a prostitute)

Hajime grew up in a two-floor house with his drunk and homophobic mom and supportive dad who died in a car crash.
His mother went out on business, and whenever she came back she drank and yelled at Hajime, as well as left chores for him to do.
One day he was playing catch with Twogami, the ultimate coach, and dropped a ball into a bush.
Hajime walked over to the bush to get the ball, and by chance saw a white-haired boy wearing a Reserve Course uniform, blinking up to him with suprise (Yes, Nagito was stalking them like a weirdo, shh)
