Tord walked out, closing the door quietly behind him after Ringo had slid her way through. He smiled, looking down at her. She looked up, giving him a soft meow before padding off into the living room. "I didn't know you could sing." Tord turned around to see Edd leaning against the wall with his usual cola in hand. "Oh- yeah." Tord blushed, a little embarrassed that Edd had heard him. "It's a song my cousin-in-law sung to me when I was little. "So if I guess correctly, that was Norwegian?" "Partially." Tord said with a small shrug. "It's a Norwegian and Swedish lullaby. My cousin-in-law, her dad is Swedish, and her husband is Norwegian so she knows them all." He chuckled. Edd nodded, taking another sip of cola. When he brought the can back down, his eyes showed a hint of sadness. "How's Tom?" He asked quietly. Tord chose his words before speaking. "He's... Doing better. I think he had a bad dream." He explained. "That would explain the screaming." Edd muttered darkly. Tord sighed, nod

"So- what are you doing up so late?" Tord asked. Edd simply held up the cola in response, and both of them chuckled. -A few hours later-

Tom woke up as the light filtered in through his window. 8:20 Am. He groaned as he got up, giving a little yawn as he stretched his arms up. He looked at his arms out of habit, momentarily forgetting that he had a different hoodie on. "Wh-? Oh, right..." He muttered, pulling up the sleeves. At this point, they had all scabbed over, and some were almost gone completely. He heard Edd, Matt, and Tord downstairs, seemingly having fun. Without him. Every part of Tom wanted to just go back to sleep - to not wake up. He thought back to simply hours before, when Tord had come in his room.

He told me he loves me... Tom smiled at the thought. Standing, he walked to the door after pulling his sleeves back down and opened it. He peeked his head out like a child, watching Tord from the distance. His two 'horns' stuck up like usual, and his red hoodie stood out. Well, at least to Tom it did. Breathing in, he walked out to the living room.

Edd had some show playing on T.V., although no one was really paying attention. "Tord, no!" Edd called as Tord stood up on the back of the recliner, somehow keeping it from falling. "I'm sorry, Rayleno, I can't do it anymore. I love you." Tord said dramatically, quoting the words in perfect sync with the show. Matt stifled a laugh as Tord brought his hand to his head, adding to the affects. "Hey, look! Tom's up!" Edd called, turning around with a smile. "Huh?" Tord went to face Tom, forgetting he was balanced precariously on the recliner, and fell. Matt burst out laughing, and Tom couldn't help but chuckle. Tord mumbled a little, "I'm okay!" and popped back up. Tom looked at the floor, not comfortable with making eye contact.

"Tom?" He looked up and met the ginger's emerald eyes. "Yeah, Ma- wait." Tom froze, staring at Matt. "What did you just say?" "Uh... Tom...? I think." Matt said, confused. Tom smiled warmly. Matt, still confused, stood up. He remembered my name, Tom thought, still smiling. It was such a small act, but for whatever reason, it made him really happy. Tord and Edd looked at each other with a smirk. "Matt decided that today he would give you lessons." Tord said to Tom. "Lessons? On what?" Tom asked. Matt grabbed Tom's wrist, walking to his bedroom.

"Well, there are a few things I could show you. Your posture is horrible, but I have seen worse, so we can worry about that later. Maybe we should work on your sense of fashion first, or sense of direction." Matt began to ramble, dragging Tom into the room and shutting the door. Right before he did, he looked at Tord and Edd with a 'help me' glance. Tord waved, smiling. -Two hours later-

Matt walked out of his room, looking pleased. "I don't know how I did it, but I did." Matt said, a hint of pride in his voice. "Where's Tom?" Edd asked. Matt looked over at his door, confused. "Tom, come on out!" Matt called. "I'm not going out like this." He called back. Tord chuckled. "Matt, what did you do?" He asked, his Norwegian accent rolling over his words. "I made him beautiful!" Matt snapped, walking back to his room. Edd and Tord heard a little squeak from Tom. "I'm - not - going!" "Yes you - are!" Matt pushed Tom out of his room and down the hall. Edd and Tord stared at Tom, completely stunned.

Tom was dressed in a white t-shirt with a blue flower on the front, and a blue sparkly skirt to match it. Tom grumbled under his breath, glaring at Matt. "Please get this off..." He mumbled. Tord bit his lip. Edd chuckled, pulling out his phone. "Wh- DON'T TAKE A PICTURE!" Tom tried to hide his face with his arms, but he was too late. Edd giggled, shaking his head as he put his phone back. Tom glared at Matt again, grabbing his wrist and dragging him back to the room. "Hey! That's my job!" Matt said. "You're gonna get me the other outfit or I'm going to destroy all of your mirrors." Tom snapped. Tord watched Tom go, his face red. "Tord? You okay?" Edd asked with a raised brow.

"Yeah... why are you asking?" Tord asked, still in a daze. "Well, your face is the same color as your hoodie." Edd teased. Chuckling sheepishly, he pulled his hood up and waited for Tom and Matt to return. Moments later, Tom came back in, looking a little happier than before. He was dressed in a white hoodie, littered with black and white checkers down the sides of the arms and a rectangle of checkers on the front. In the center, there was a navy blue rose, and. He had grey jeans, slightly ripped, and to top it all off, a navy blue flower crown. His face was gently flushed, and he and Tord made eye contact. "Now, this personally isn't my favorite, but Tom looks pretty good in it." Matt commented, turning his head as to get a better angle of Tom. Tord smiled at Tom, pulling his hood down and standing.

He walked to Tom, placing his hand on his cheek gently. "You look adorable." Tord mumbled, only loud enough for Tom to hear him. Tom felt his face heat, and he practically glowed. He gave a nervous chuckle, looking to the floor. "Hey, are you two gonna kiss or something?" Edd teased. Tom felt his face redden deeply, and he glared at Edd. Tord chuckled. "You never know; maybe we will." His tone was soft and slightly playful. Tom tried to smile, but it looked more like embarrassment than happiness.

The rest of the day was spent messing around, and it reminded Tom of when they were kids. Every day back then was full of laughter and adventure, and it left him wondering what had happened to it all. But nonetheless, Tom enjoyed the day with his friends. After they returned from a late night movie - Space Pirates 9: Return of Jim Buckley - Tom was exhausted. He tried his best to stay awake, and had to catch himself a few times to keep from slamming into the side of the car. Once they arrived home, Tom yawned and got out, trudging to the door. He opened it and walked through, leaving it wide open for the rest of the gang. "I'm gonna go to bed..." He mumbled, heading to the stairs. He tripped on the first few, and quickly threw his arm out to catch himself.

"Need a little help there?" Tord chuckled, standing behind Tom. Blushing, Tom allowed Tord to help him to his room. As Tom laid down on his bed, Tord began to walk out.

"Wait..." Tom called quietly. Tord turned around with a questioning look. Tom felt stupid for even thinking to ask him, and played with his thumbs, not making eye contact. Tord walked back over to him, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Yes?" His voice was soft. Tom hesitated before asking. "Do you... think you could sing... a song or something?" He felt his face redden for probably the twentieth time that day, and he kept his focus on his hands. Tord was caught slightly off guard by this request. He never knew Tom to be the soft one. "Sure." He said. Tom looked up, surprised.

"Well, don't stare at me." Tord teased. "Makes me nervous." That being said, Tom laid down, tossing the flower crown aside and pulling the blanket over him as Tord began to sing.

Byssan lull mitt lille barn! Mor hun sitter og nøster garn. Far han går på Langebro, kjøper barnet nye sko, nye sko og spenner, så sover barnet lenger. (Hush my little child. Tord's tune echoed in his head, images of the day dancing around in his mind, and he fell asleep. (A/N) I've just realized how often Tom sleeps... Huh.
