I have read further it is still legal to fire someone from their job purely off of their sexual orientation. The chances for transgender or etc people getting fired for it are even higher. people have literally been hunted for being in the community (though the numbers for that happening have GREATLY decreased) Theres literally a story of a policeman getting a gay man to go to his house, have sex, then he actually arrested the man because of it. It's been said he's done this to 13 others too. also I believe that same-sex marriages were still not allowed (havent read further into this part yet) not to mention my state was the first state to rule against it this is all read just fro my state, and its not even at the top of the list
