Your oc lives alone and just arrived home from a long business trip. As soon as you went inside, you heard a large clatter from upstairs, then running. You ran to the origin of the noise to find that several objects in your guest bedroom was knocked over, and the closet was opened slightly. Feathers were scattered on the floor. You approached the closet, and managed to catch of glimpse of someone inside. It was a harpy-like creature with red and brown feathers, and bandages wrapped around his eyes. He was covering his mouth and trembling badly.

It went to get up again, letting out a small whimper when it moved it's leg and clawing at the ground

It's ankle was clearly sprained badly, farther up it's leg were a few deep scratches

It turned it's head to look back at him, confused A few feathers were deeply stained with blood around a particular area

At the slightest touch it screamed in pain, moving it's leg away quickly

It whimpered softly every few seconds, but managed to stay still, lightly trembling

It sat up and glanced down at it's leg, before back up at him

It stared for a moment before seeming to perk up, chirping happily

Several months later it was starting to get colder, and Sho seemed to be getting weaker over time, at one point he would start laying on the ground for hours without moving

After a second he gave a small whimper. "C-Cold.."

He nuzzled more against the blanket, continuing to whimper softly, trying to get as much warmth as he could

He paused, blinking as he glanced up at him

He stared for a moment before curling against him, getting as much of his warmth as he could, after a second he gave a satisfied sigh

He fell silent then, not making any other noises, other than a few small chirps

He seemed to have fallen asleep a few minutes later, nuzzled close to his chest
