Okay so. Ferdie first. Ferdinand is the first born son of King Luís Carriedo II and his first wife, Mary. Unfortunately, she died a few days after giving birth to Ferdinand, and so the relationship between him and The King has always been strained. Luís truly loved his wife and could never hate the child that she bore, but a part of him he can't ignore blames Ferdinand for the death of Mary. The fact that he looks almost exactly like her is hard for The King, and so he avoids the heir to the throne at all costs. All the love he feels for the son of his one true love can never be overshadowed by her untimely death, but it's very hard for The King to deal with. Because of this, he sent Ferdinand off to live with Mary's sister, Lucille, when he was three years old.

Because his mother was not in favor of the people due to her nationality (French), Ferdinand has since been known as "The devil's child" or "The forgotten one". Despite all this, he is still set to recieve the title of King once Luís passes away. Defining character traits (Work in progress): -Often feels lonesome or isolated -He appears to be too benevolent for his own good -Resents the nobility deep within his heart and doesn't ever wish to be crowned king -Way deep down, he hates the world for the way they treated him and sometimes breaks his doormat act -Longs for a break -Finishes what he starts, but has trouble finding a place to begin anything

Physical traits: Hair: Silver Eyes: Cobalt blue Clothes: Though he prefers wearing average clothing and looking like a commoner, he is often forced to keep a regal appearance. Other stuff: -Wishes to elope with his childhood friend Rosemary. -She is the only one in the entire village he grew up in that ever gave him the time of day. -He likes going to the market and sneaks around in a cloak covering his stunning (And recognizable) hair. -Prefers to spend time outside in nature -Longs for a peaceful life in a quaint village -Not too ambitious Likes: Writing, baking, nature, Rosemary, feeding the birds, peace Dislikes: The nobility, accidentally lashing out, his father, himself If you can't tell he's my favorite because I just love his backstory and I want him to have a satisfying character arc and maybe Rosemary will die maybe she won't who knows Oh also he's 100% straight

Whewwwww and now it's time for Karlos here we go

Karlos was born to King Luís II's second wife, Alexandra. Since she felt that she could never fill the hole that Mary left in The King's heart, she always tried to raise their children to love their father more than her. When Karlos was 7, as a result of this extreme devotion to her husband, she was willing to sacrifice seeing her beloved children grow up in favor of travelling all around the known world. Karlos is a very emotional boy, so he felt betrayed by his mother for leaving him all alone. But instead of seeking love from his father like Alexandra hoped, he locked his heart away and decided that he'd never rely on another person. He always gets into trouble to try and get his parent's attention, but The King always just sends a guard out to find him. He feels that he can't trust anyone, and so has a bit of a reputation among the common folk.

Defining character traits: -Very emotional -Easily angered -Feels inferior to Micos -Pessimistic -Rebellious (For attention) -Angsty teenager vibes -Sad -Headstrong Physical traits: Hair: Red like Micos', but slightly lighter Eyes: Hazelnut/yellow Gender: Male Sexuality: He doesn't know it but he's completely straight. He wants people to notice him more though, so he's convinced himself he's bisexual. Yes this is a big plot point. Other things: Likes: Sweets, dancing & singing (Yeah he's a theater kid), apples, bunnies Dislikes: Annoying people, pretty much his whole family, conventionally attractive people, shoes, government affairs
