Sorry to hear that. But, I'm sure your dad just wants the best for you. He loves you a lot, and he just wants you to do your best. If/when he gets mad at you going to detention, it's probably 'cause he thinks of you as the best person in the world, and got a detention? He just needs you to be who you are, do your best, and just...live your life. But, he's just looking out for you, I'm sure. Dads are the kind of people that are hard to share with a lot. I'm guessing you don't really have anybody to share your private/personal things with. It might be awkward with your dad, but still. I'm sure he'll listen all the way through, and might think of an advice/solution. Dads don't share much, either, but if YOU open to them, they will open to you. :3 (long speech) xD
