HELLO ohmygosh you’re like the third person to ask me this i’m so happy so many people are interesteddd. Transformers is a franchise, it has tv shows, movies, comics, video games… it’s a lot. It really depends on where you’d like to start first, would you rather watch something or read something?

OKOK my favourite transformers media is definitely the idw comics, so you could start there. But to be honest, you might want some prior knowledge about some of the characters before you read it. So I would recommend maybe starting by watching the series transformers prime which you can get all 3 seasons for free on youtube. There are many other good (and bad) series out there but I think that one might be the most approachable to newcomers. (I’m really sorry if this is an overload of information jsjsjsjshj)

I would also recommend watching the movies and maybe the g1 series (if you don’t mind 80s tv shows) because they’re just great fun. Uhm but if you wanna read the comics after that or before you can do so by reading the idw collection which is basically all of the idw comics in a suggested reading order, or you could look up a reading order guide. There are other comics out there too but idw is undoubtedly the most popular so yeah!! And then you can go from there just watch whatever series or movie etc you want :p
