anyway. change is funny

everyone must change but that does not mean i am going to like it. often they change for the worse and i wish they were still who they used to be. maybe not even for the worse. one time when i was little, my mom rearranged the living room and i cried about it, so i wouldn’t say i am particularly inclined to embrace change anyway. i feel that i have mostly changed for the better, but i must acknowledge that some of my virtues were lost along the way. for example i am meaner. the good thing is, i can change that too. but i have to want it. if i feel that being mean protects me, i will not stop. it must be intrinsic. that is why i cannot change others, and they cannot change me. all i can do is set the best example i can, and hope they will follow
