Thora’s used to messing with people and hurting them for fun but then she starts caring about him which throws her off because it’s never happened before. She tries to change for him but since he grew up thinking love equals pain he doesn’t even realize she’s trying to be different. The way she used to treat him felt like love because it reminded him of how his mom treated him. At the same time Thora is struggling because she’s never been good at being vulnerable or showing her feelings in a normal way. She has no idea how to make him see that she actually cares now. It’s like they’re stuck in this loop
