I asked a reptile house worker a shit load of questions about them and she was like "dude for the next show and tell segment I could get them to bring them out!!" And then she asked me about it later and I was like "oh they didn't but it's ok" and she was like "yknow what I'm just gonna take one out and let you hold it 👍" and then I got to hold it and get told more facts about spiny stick insects 10/10 experience
