my head canon is that the objects/hosts never had a gender and they made there own gender like..the interaction with gaty and two we can see that gaty doesnt know what girl is but chose that since it made her happy and it would make sense for the objects since some sound like girls but are guys and vice versa *ik this is probably stupid or like super easy to figure out but just. let me have this*
