even then its still worth a shot 😭 when this became known it was kept hidden for this exact reason. people were made accounts via google cus that acted as a barrier to stop people like kf from doimgnthis sort of thing. by keeping it public youre just opening up the site to more harmful people

Most of the bad people from this site already had a way to register in the first place, i made it more public so people can have fun with it and invite their friends to flipanim i think it is unfair to take away register from everyone because of bad apples

them making a new account changes a lot. it helps them bypass being blocked by those who had blocked them nefore which lets them comment on their anims which isnt good

flipanims blocking system is flawed, they can just make a post with your username and they can just mention you through the recent comments

when it gets to that point its up to the user who blocked the other person to decide whether they want to interact or not. if they do not want anything to do with that person, they can dodge their accounts and posts. the real problem starts whenever the blocked user is now able to comment under the other users posts when said user has made it very evident they want nothing to do with them

I understand, that is an issue that still happens due to the influx of alt accounts older users have What i was trying to say is even when you block somebody, recent comments still pop up on that page, making it very hard to avoid, When you make a new account it slowly gets harder to use due to the captcha, same with creating an account, it'd be a lot more inconvenient for the other person to create that many accounts just to harass somebody, than the victim to block and delete their comments That flaw comes with flipanims blocking system, not being able to make accounts

fuschia is right in that id also love for people to be able to create accounts on this site again, but the sad fact is we arent in the 2019 cute furry era anymore, man. people aren’t as nice as they used to be back then and this website has become a cesspool of degenerate nonsense over the last 3 or so years more than it has EVER been. if a person uses alts, they can only use so many before they run out and can no longer directly comment under a persons post. if a person has access to account creation, they can make as many accounts as they want. flipanim accounts dont even need a valid email to make, as long as they have an @ symbol and a .com at the end theyre registered as valid meaning its extremely easy to just mass produce accounts

i understand your concern, i am not the only one who leaked the way to register accounts, i think i've found 2 or 3 different anims as well explaining how to registering a new account is painstaking because you have to re apply the html into the website using inspect element, it feels unrealistic to think somebody would go through all that just to harass another person I will say though that this brings up another concern for myself with the old attack on flipanim that happened that CAUSED the register button to disappear in the first place

Start charging ppl for accounts

im not sure if that can happen again with the way the register html is set up, but either way the website is still dying one way or another, i still dont think being able to make accounts is the biggest concern in hand

oh no its fine, flipanims been like this for years now even with the registering last year or the year before, the biggest issue that ended up happening was new accounts and captcha hell

The reason the register button got removed is because people found out a way to post images Thus leading to trolls posting poern on OTHER peoples accounts (they also found a way to login to peoples accounts) and or making new accounts so he just deleted the register and the old editor and called it a night
