Your OC is walking through an abandoned park trail into the forest of the great UK. on your walk it gets quite dark and you try to head back home but get lost due to the darkness. you stumble upon a huge birdcage and inside of it is a Blue Jay that was dimly lit by the moonlight. it doesn't look very happy and there seemed to be no food for it...WWYD?

*The bird-thing flinched and fell backward, hitting the bars, feathers were ruffled up to look threatening* ???: "..!?"

*its feathers smoothed down as it crawled on its claws slowly over to you, its beak touching your hand as a way of sniffing* ???: "...?"

*It crawled closer once realizing you were friendly, Nuzzling your hand with its beak a soft trilling noise escaping it, the bars of the cage were rusted in some places...*

(aww sweet soul ;w;) *It tilted its head before pointing at the sky and ten to the forest. its wings flexed out fully as it made a loud trilling screech that sounded close to an arrow being shot* (he was shot out of the sky, he can speak but he doesn't remember how just yet)

*It skittish away to the corner of the cage, messing around with the leaves when it found something and crawled back to you, an arrow with rust and dried blood on it. upon closer inspection, the Bird had a scar on his wing* (spooder lady, he's been there for years ;-;)

(idk-) *It nodded, circling the cage with impatience, watching you with its sockets, occasionally looking up at the roof of the cage then back to you with a trill* ???: "..!"

(uh E) *It backed away from the bars and sat in the leaf pile, dead leaves sticking to its feathers as it stared at you*

(*wheeze* poor spider-) *it stood up and jumped up, grabbing the hatch from under her, flapping furiously with his wings he tried to help push it up* ??: "!"

(awww-) *it only grunted as it continued to push up when suddenly the hatch opened and it sent the bird creature flying forward, crashing into you on the roof of the cage* ??: "!?!"
