"Wha?" "You almost walked straight over the edge, into the river." She cringed into her fur from embarassment, mumbling, "Oh.." She glanced at the drop she could have fell. Anxiety swelled inside her, making her dizzy. She shook her head, and kept walking. *** Violet suddenly leaped upwards. There was a loud, booming sound from somewhere. She heard Apex mumble from behind her, "Thunder." Violet's gaze instantly threw itself to the darkening sky. Massive clouds were rolling in, all of them dark in color. Her eyes widened, a wave of fear slammed into her. She trembled, almost loosing her footing. Thunder roared overhead again.

The cats stood still, staring at the massive storm forming. She leaped again as Scarab let out shrill scream. She turned to Axxa, expecting him to know something, her eyes wide. "What do we do?" She asked, her voice quivering as she looked at the tabby. She fell as wave of dread crashed ontop of her, Axxa didn't respond. "We gotta' find shelter, an' fast." Lo mumbled. She glanced at her, then stood, and darted to the nearby forest. She looked back, making sure they had followed. She ran, suddenly skidding to a halt. Thunder boomed once more. She heard Scarab let out another ear-splitting screech. She glanced around, trying to find the tiny she-kit. "Scarab!" She yowled, beginning to get frantic. "Where is she?" June-bug's panicked mew sounded behind her.

Rain suddenly began jolting down on them. It began to clog up Violet's pink-tinted fur, making her even more uncomfortable. "Scarab!" She cried again, Apex and June-bug joined her. She had just realized Axxa was gone too. Luckily, the drenched tom was trekking back to them. "Axxa! Did you find Scarab?" June-bug meowed, leaping beside him. The grey tabby simply looked at her. "Did you?" June-bug took a step back, her eyes wide. The cats stared in shock as Axxa shook his head. "No! Not my daughter! Scarab!" June-bug screamed, tilting her head back. Apex flattened his ears, and hugged Auo closer to him. The ginger tom looked up at his father, blinking. Thunder howled overhead as June-bug suddenly lunged at Axxa, shoving him over. "How could you? You let her die, didn't you!" She shrieked. "I don't know if she's dead or not, now get off me!" Axxa growled. The rain began to pour down even harder, making it hard to hear. "Axxa wouldn't have let Scarab die!" Blue meowed.

June-bug suddenly slashed a paw at Axxa, "You're lying!" Axxa bucked her off, crouching beside a nearby tree. There was a small gash on the side of his face, starting from his ear. Violet just stared in shock. She glanced at Eln beside her. The she-cat was silent, her eyes wide, staring at her paws. June-bug suddenly let out a yowl, and leaped away. She was trying to run out of the forest, but Lo and Blue had a hold of her. "You can't go out there!" Apex said. "What about Scarab? She's out there! Somewhere.." June-bug trailed off. The she-cat looked around, her dark blue gaze resting on Violet. She jerked Blue and Lo off of her, and slammed into the lilac she-cat.

"You! You're the one who brought us on this stupid journey!" she spat. Violet tried to speak, but June-bug's paw slammed into her head. The she-cat's voice blurred, along with everything else. A paw slammed into her again, claws raking the side of her face. She saw Lo desperately trying to drag June-bug off. She reached a helpless paw out, slumping as the world spun into nothing.
