I'm not the best at giving advice. but Try doing what makes you happy and put all your effort into that. It'll definitely show. and Don't get trapped doing something you hate just because that's what gives you the most likes. I'll usually do a sketch layer or a few storyboards to work from. then add lineart, color, and shadows. I draw with a mouse btw
