they're me and my friend's gem ocs. they're elites and are considered "perfect" in the empire. my friend was planning on making their character cracked (i.e the scar on her face), which would tarnish her reputation as a commander and deem her less valuable. my character (the second one) is very critical to gems that are considered "broken", so he's very shocked and heartbroken for her.
