Your oc was friends with ashton, and were hanging out with him at his apartment, he had left them alone in the living room after telling them he was going to go find a board game, so, of xourse being curious, your oc decides to look around a bit and they come across a box that was labled "old unimportant stuff", your oc then opens the box to find discharage papers for a mental hospital from 5 years ago, ashtons name being on the papers, confused, your oc decides to explore the box a bit more, and finds an old news paper that had the headline of "white haired 13 year old male, found in building with blood on clothes and hands, a dead body also found on the scene, the identity of the corpse is unknown due toi the face being mangled and unidentifiable" there also being an image next to the sentence, showing 3 police officers trying to control a kid who wasnt identifiable in the image due to it looking as if the picture was taken while the person was moving, there was also old pictures of the menta

Ashton: -sighs- ...listen.. Whatever you read in that paper it isnt even the full story... Yeah, i was arrested at 13 and brought a mental hospital for killing someone, but the person i killed was a bad person, and also, I panicked, the he'll was i supposed to do? Control myself? I was 13 years old and barely even understood my power.. I couldnt control it, therefore an accident happened, and thats over now... I never did anything on purpose
Ashton: ...the hospital tried to surgically remove the things from my hands? Then the dude that runs the college i go to came in and got me out of there.. Kinda happy about that because the anesthetics kept wearing off..

-the information in the papers and documents were a bit strange still, seeing as how its really hard to imagine ashton actually going through with killing someone, he has made threats before, but like.. Never went through with it, so its still strange-

-there was a stack of pictures though-
-its a stack of pictures being held together by rubber bands-
-there were some pictures that looked like they were from the mental hospital, and others from the arrest, ashton being in every photo, he looked either panicked or just very stressed in all of the images, not a single one he looked calm in, except for the last one, a photo of him at his college, it was labeled "first day" and revealed the fact that the college he goes to is pretty large... And ashton wasnt in the photo, though, it seemed obviois he was probably the one who took it, but it was still strange that that was the only photo with a nice setting, and that didnt have ashton in it, it also looked to be the only photo that was in thhe best shape, as if it wasnt messed with or anything-
-there wasnt really anything else to look at other then an old poleroid camera, but that didnt seem to have anything interesting about it, and it looked broken-
-the camera is just broken and missing a few pieces, so it cant really do anything, and it sounded like something broke inside of it when dylan set it down-
-it was just something inside of the camera, but the back panel falls off and a few pieces fall out-
-it is now just looking more broken then before, but it didnt make sound that time when he set it down, so thats improvement-?-

Ashton: -looks- oh- the poleroid! ..why were you messing with that? Its been broken for a few years now

(Ashton cant see well- he just refuses glasses or contacts, because he just doesnt care, his vison isnt too bad, he just cant see in too far or too close of distances and cant read small words I uh- yeah his eyes arent great-)
