I don't wanna start anything but personally I think andrew's spider-man was the best (he's my favorite.) the reason there wasn't a third wasn't because of his portrayal. he was a very good actor for spiderman imo. The second movie didn't earn as much as expected,got mixed reviews and he missed an event to announce a third movie. The emotional weight of it and andrew's ability to carry it out was incredible. I also like the way it portrayed him depressed and broken after gwen's death, along with his desperation to get her to wake up. And in no way home where he described his mental state after Gwen died, saying he became bitter and rageful. Honestly, TASM2 had a messy plot and too many villains, so kinda like a good actor in a not so good movie. He absolutely deserved a 3rd movie in my opinion.
