Tarcore

-Zircon sat at the edge of the small stone castle they lived in that sat on a hill just above the forest. They could see the creatures that talked among themselves and could hear their conversations with their incredibly sharp hearing, sighing as nothing interesting caught their ears. Their pet crow, Caw, sat on the ledge next to them, eyes closed and feathers ruffled from the gentle breeze-

LMAO)) -Zircon turned and entered back into the castle, Caw following after them as they stalked across the yellow carpet, bored and itching to do something-

-Zircon decided to send Caw out to see if there were any unseen threats nearby. The crow obeyed without hesitation and flew out of the window, soaring above the trees and looking around with sharp eyes-

-Caw fluttered onto a low hanging branch to examine a small clearing. Its white eyes landed on Cottoncloud, who seemed to be giving off emotions of slight confusion-

-Caw followed the creature silently, wings hardly making a sound as it flew-

-Caw sat down on a branch, seemingly annoyed by the fact that it had been saw and gave a low caw at Sushi in anger-

-Caw cave a chirp of surprise and fluttered backwards in a panic-

-Caw stared at the creatures below, feathers ruffled and chest puffed out to make itself look bigger

(Yum) -Caw decided that this was more then enough information to report to Zircon and immediately left the tree, quickly soaring about if sight-

-Caw soon landed on the ledge of the castle where Zircon was waiting. The bird quickly mimicked the voices of the others and telling them about what had happened. Zircon, now intrigued about the information and leaving the castle and heading into the forest-

-Zircon padded lightly across the forest, sensing many other creatures nearby but noticed that one of them held the emotion of confusion and fear and followed that, soon spotting Cottoncloud-

-Zircon tried too approach the creature quietly but winced as a twig snapped under their paw-

Zircon is nonbinary 😭)) -Zicron was hardly amused and simply sat down, curling their unusual tail over their paws and sighing.-

alr!)) "You seem confused odd one. Perhaps your lost?" Zircon asked, ears flicking once-

"Hm," Zircon said and tilted their head slightly in thought. "Do you recall which direction you came from?"

"Thats unfortunate, perhaps we could retrace your paw prints, although there are a lot of scattered ones.." Zircon sighed

-Zircon flicked their tail. "No need to apologize, it's easy to get lost in forests" They said

"It takes confidence to stray so far from your home on your own. Caw can help us locate your home," They said and lifted a paw as the crow flew silently onto it-

"Other person, where?" They asked

"Odd, well let me know if you send them." They said and nodded to Caw who flew off their paw second later-

-Zircon smiled back a bit and then began to follow the paw steps that fit cottoncloud's paws the most-

After a bit searching, Caw finally returned and started to lead them in the direction of Cottonclouds home. "See? We're be there soon," Zircon said-

-Zicron gave hum of amusement and focused on Caw who flew a bit above the trees-

"Need a break?" Zircon asked as they noticed she got quieter-

-Zircon shrugged and continued to head forward, noticing how the forest started to become more open and guessed they were getting close-

I need a cat so badly 😭😭)) Zircon could sense the panic coming from her. "Whats wrong?" They asked

Same😭😭)) - Zircon nodded but slowed down to keep the same pace as her, ears rotating as the sun began to rise-

It is a big forest 😭 and i do that sometimes sobb)) -Caw finally stopped and landed on a branch near Zircon's head and motioned a wing towards a shadow in the distance. "Well, this is as far as I go, your home is just over there."

"Its Zircon, and now that I think about it, I've never asked yours, so its only fair that I ask for yours as well. " They said and sat down

"The name suits you... Although you do look anxious about going back go your home.." They said with a hint of concern-

"Theres no need to repay me, I'm simply glad that I could help you" Zircon said as they sensed that she wanted to change the topic-

They thought about it for a second then nodded. "Next time try to mark the trees so that you don't get lost," They said

"See you later Cotton!" They called back, glad that they had been able to lead her back home safely. "Cmon Caw, let's go back home" They said as Caw landed on their shoulder-

(New oc wee) -Tarcore yawned as she woke up, sun peeking into the small burrow she slept in. She stretched her head out of the burrow and closed her eyes at the bright morning sun

-Tarcore stepped out of the burrow and shook out her fur, licking her muzzle as she searched for something to eat-

-Tarcore crouched as she spotted a dove and stalked towards it, leaving towards it and killing it in one bite and eating it under a tree-

(Welcome backkk) -Zircon laid in a spot near the castle one a stone slab, letting the sun soak into their fur- -Tarcore finished her meal and trotted around the forest, now happy from her meal and looking for something to do-

-Zicron opened an eye as the sound of wings fluttering and saw Caw land on a branch nearby, a worm in its mouth.- -Tarcore noticed a dragonfly fluttering above her head and pawed at it as it buzzed around her ears-

-Zircon stood up and stretched, ears flat against their head and tail twitching. They decided to head back to their castle and turned around to head back.- -Tarcore giggled as the dragonfly landed on her nose and she looked at the vibrant colors-

-Zicron leaped up above the ledge of the castle and sat down on the smooth stone, watching the forest with half closed eyes- -Tarcore followed the dragonfly as it fluttered towards a field where many others buzzed above tall grass-

-Zircon flicked an ear as a fly buzzed by and watched in amusement as Caw chased after it - -Tarcore swatted at the insects and giggled as her kit like instincts acted on their own-
