This is a basic anatomy. Make sure the head is slightly larger than the body. Make sure the pose is as well, reasonable. Don’t do it like I did.
Sencond part:
Here we have basic anatomy, in a proper shape. But, the arm is not very realistic. So, we should fix any mistakes in our anatomy. There we go.

People make their heads so much bigger, to get the element of “cuteness.” Yeah. That’s not cute.. that’s just showing you don’t know basic anatomy. Are we all Chibi’s in real life? No.

People put bangs over eyes, but don’t erase the eyes. This is used to much, so I have to say it.
If only a small piece of bag is covering it, or only a few bangs, it’s ok. But the entire eye bang? No erase? Nani? No..... that’s just weird!

this doesn't really look like actual anatomy, people would be better off looking at nude models
