Anyways,, so yeah Caspian and Kai met when she was just beginning her sailing days,, And well, Caspian was the only captain that allowed her on his ship. Mostly due to the fact he took a liking to her in Nassau,, but that’s besides the point She sailed with him for a year,, and by that time, Kai had some.. devious intentions. She was sick and tired of being treated awfully by her crew mates, and well- she wanted her own ship. She was taught to sail by her father,, so she knew how to man a ship- but the trouble was trying to actually… get one. Anyways,, basically, she insisted that the boat stop at an inhabited island,, and well- Caspian complied because he was like “eh yeah- lets see whats there,, we need supplies anyways-“ And one thing lead to another,, basically she caught him in a vulnerable position,, then after they did their thing,, she jacked up his arm because she was trying to steal his boat— and well She succeeded in taking over the ship. Leaving caspian and the crew on the island.

Also,, the only reason she was able to sail the boat by herself for a short while is because only a few nautical miles away- there was another more populous island— which is where she amassed a small crew of what most would consider misfits.
