Alright then, who'll start?

When she was a ten year old girl, she was taught about love. Rather, she learnt it herself; from books and novellas, movies and TV shows. She loved the concept of love so much, she had fantasised about it late at night when she couldn't sleep. There was one thing she loved the most about love: love at first sight. The fact you could see someone and know they were the one was fascinating to her. When growing up, her belief has been proven itself false. Love at first sight couldn't possibly be a thing, you needed to work for it. Thus, she got disappointed. She walked in to her new school, with a precarious and nervous step, before looking towards it. It was big, bigger than she'd ever think a school could get. She stared at it for far too long, as she felt her shoulder be bumped by someone. "S-sorry!" She spurted out. In that moment, she looked at that person's eyes, and felt a spark. She didn't expect it to happen to her, over six years later.

She looked at him, and it felt like staring into the abyss. It entranced her and it took her away; off to somewhere she didn't know, yet she felt secure. She tore her gaze away with a blink, before looking at his eyes again and muttering. "H-hello." She did her best to smile securely, yet only a shaky, unsure smile came out of her mouth. With a small unsatisfied expression at herself, she awaited his response with eagerness and anxiety.

She was taken aback. With her composure lost, she stumbled when trying to adjust her position, and almost fell. Looking at him with a vague, embarrassed smile, while avoiding his eyes, she looked towards the school and spoke up. "It's..." she trailed off, before looking at his nose once again. "My first day here, what about you?" In her mind, she both celebrated asking a question, and beat herself up for asking such a stupid, useless question.

She noticed him rubbing the back of his neck. She thought it was cute, and her face lit up in flames just a moment later. Then, he smiled at her, and she was forced to look away. With hesitation, she replied. "I-I think it was... Biology? Today?" Her face felt better now. She looked at him with sincere eyes. His smile was contagious.

She her gaze once again to the floor as he took her hand; a warm, calm feeling passing through to her. Her heart beat fast, and her face felt hotter by the minute; even more so because of the states she felt. He looked so confident, she couldn't help but marvel at his secure demeanor, that provided her with a much-needed sense of safety, I'm this unknown territory. She smiled, as she was led around by him hand in hand.

Haha no worries, we can continue tomorrow if you want to, seems like it'll be a while till we get to the dark stuff too) Indeed, the halls were hectic enough to leave her dizzy. She couldn't count on one hand the amount of times they've turned corners. With a glimpse of a smile, she looked up at him. The release of his hand felt like liberty, yet, it felt like she craved for his touch and warmth once more. "Thank you so much." A moment of silence, before she spoke up once again. "I-if you don't mind me asking, what's your name?"

In any case, I'll have to go now. You up for continuing this tmw?) "Ah - I'm Jessica, Jessica Steele. Thank you so much for today!" She smiled, looking back towards the classroom and then walking into it, not without waving goodbye at Hanabi first. Hanabi. What a weird name. A foreigner, perhaps? She couldn't help but feel excitement - her first love is a foreigner! Her smile got even bigger. With those feelings, she carried on with her day.
