Alright,, Leo and Mari have been irritable with each other over Kai, mostly because Leo is actively trying to use her. Why is Leo using her? Because he wants a child,, for various reasons. But anyways, he’s like “Ah, why not have a baby with the strongest lady in the city?” So yeah, trying to seduce Kai and whatnot,, so he starts treating her like a queen,, Which Kai isn’t used to, so she’s enjoying being spoiled, and she finds herself becoming more and more drawn to Leo. Both Alex and Mari were noticing this, and Mari was aware of Leo’s intentions, because he’s able to read emotions to an extent. Anyways, Mari told off Leo,, but then he told Alex about Leo’s intentions. So Alex went after Leo, and the two of them got into a fight,, and well,, Alex got murdered with an angelic scythe so he’s permanently in hell now. Leo blamed his death on a new angel in town, and Kai believes him because,, why wouldn’t she? She wouldn’t think Leo would kill Alex, one of his most loyal workers, it doesn’t make sense.

So,, I’m going to be introducing an angel soon,, oop,, But yeah,, Mari saw Alex disintegrate by Leos feet, when Leo was holding the double sided scythe. So Mari told Kai about what he saw, and she was convinced it was a big misunderstanding. And Mari is all like, “bro, Leo beats you n’shit. You really think he cares about you? You’re down to only one person who cares about you, Me. The other one was killed by your stupid boss.” And Kai is like, “well I don’t care, Leo likes me, and I’m not letting you hurt him.” So the two of them are about to fight,, which is going to be rough. Mari is furious, so blind rage will obviously “assist” him in the fight, but also harm him. One,, when Mari is in his demonic form there’s no stopping him, so he will just keep pushing and pushing. Two,, when he doesn’t stop, he’s more likely to get hurt, especially in a fight with Kai. Kai has a history of fighting, and she’s been a trained soldier ever since she was around the age of 11. By Micah when she was 16, when she became a demon. So she’s exceptionally skilled. Don’t underestimate Kai’s size, because when she’s in her demon form, she’s a force to be reckoned with. Kai is more skilled than Mari, and she’s considerably stronger than him because she has a level of control over herself. But,, regardless of the outcome, it will not be good.

And Mari is like, “yo bro,, Leo is tryna make some super powerful demon babies with your ex. Also he killed Alex. I hate him, but he’ll kill me if I fight him alone” And Micah is like “damn,, you think I could get Kai back if I avenged Alex?” And Mari doesn’t tell Micah that Kai is on Leo’s side because he thinks that’ll discourage him,, and so he’s like “lol sure,, come fight”
