Linkwanna give out a lil lore / backstory to these two
Layla Rose and Max(well) Rose
They take back to the times in which people would burn witches and those who supposably took part in "Dark arts" Her parents were human along with both Layla and Max. They lived in a village with other humans but their parents were different to them. They would help creature in need like Werewolves, fairies, Dragon ETC. Max was the first to be born. He'd help gather things for ingredients in order to help his parents ((Names Unknown)) make and create things that would help creatures. Later on Layla was born into the family. The creatures loved the family and would help them at times needed. One day someone in the village spotted them creating mixtures of potions and spoke out to the village about it. They found it horrifying and disgusting, so they all decided on one thing. Burn them down to a crisp. And so they did. They all mobbed the hut in which they lived and burnt it. Luckily Max escaped with Layla in his arms.

LinkMax had to watch as his mother and father perished within the fires of his own home. The people yelled and cheered, and Max had no choice but to run to the forest. The people chasing from afar. He then met up with one of the wolves of the forest and handed them Layla. He said that it wouldn't be safe for her to be with him due to him being hunted down. The Village people didn't even know about Layla. So the wolves took her in due to the kindness of the Rose family. Max was later cornered down by the people until a swarm of bats rained on them, chasing and scaring them off. They took him back to their castle walls; he explained what had happened to his parents and the vampires decided to take him in and offered to make him stronger in order to stay with them. So he did. They gave him an enchanted red stone that allowed him to turn into a vampire. Layla had now stayed with the werewolves, growing up they protected her and even gave her an enchanted necklace that would partially turn her into one of them.

LinkSoon Max had found where his sister was, but in fear and pain of bringing destruction to her new home. So instead he decided that for the time being he'd care and watch over her through the shadows of the forest. He made potions and mixes like his parents would and sneaked them in places for her to find. Soon after they grew he came up to her and explained how they were siblings. She didn't believe him at first until he told her to make a cut on his hand and hers and sniff the blood out. She did and so she realized it was her brother. ((this part is just temporary)). Time passed and conflict between them began.

Fun facts! (Some not so fun)
Max hates fires due to the fact that his home and only family died in a fire.
Layla is the only wolf in her pack to have wings! This is because of the necklace around her neck (And because one time she saw a bird and wanted to fly like one)
There's a picture of Layla and Max's parents lost somewhere near their old burnt up home.
The Gem Max was given to him by the vampire gives him special abilities just like Layla's
They both have a younger adopted sister named Stella
Layla is most friendly towards humans and whenever she meets one she tries to be-friend them.
Max dislikes humans at first but later on due to some events, he decides to open up a little to them
wow so they were *****ed by a bunch of regular degular humans ;-; they better have gone back and killed everyone

They stayed gone for so long so all the people in the village had already gone away or died ,, they outlived them
