Karma’s co workers recently have been pushing her to get out more, she wanted to prove that her life wasn’t just about her garden and cat outside of work. So of course she went out for this popular‘ boba’ she’d heard of it before but had never seen it or tried it. She just went to the closest shop near by and hesitantly waited outside. She didn’t know how these places worked..and the line looked long..maybe she should go home
Luckily, the queue went down quickly quite fast. It was quite a cozy looking boba shop, and the seating inside looked comfy. In about 15 minutes, she got to the front of the queue, getting her chance to ordered. She got served by a lovely brown haired young man. He was quite tall. His name was Dong-hyun
Karma seemed like a complete scatter brain, her face was red as she panicked. What to do what to do? She muttered a bit, trying to order, but speaking far too softly for anyone to hear. She was nervous..and people were staring at her horns..she looked like she was about to cry poor thing
She covered her face with a hand, panicking that there was a line behind her. Nevertheless she nodded slowly “Y-Yes please..”
He smiled and gave her a nod. He told her every flavour they had, explaining them all, as well as explaining the different types of tapioca they had and how everything tasted. After explaining everything to her with a smile, he looked back at her.
"Do you have an idea on what to order now or do you need a few minutes?"
( Yea sure!! )
Karma nodded quickly, her tail now wagging hard and her face lighting up with a bit more confidence this time around. She knew exactly what she wanted “T-The ho-honey milk t-tea with r-regular boba..e-extra sweet-“
She nervously followed his direction, standing there like a good gal and wagging her tail. He was so handsome wtf
Karmas hand was shaking when she reached for it, his smile making her tremble even more. She dropped it on the counter and whimpered panicking and looking around for napkins
Karma looked like she was about to cry, poor thing was too embarrassed. She whimpered, just looking at him in shame
She watched him pass and sat down with her drink, melting at how sweet he was to her. She didn’t get treated equally often..so it was nice
Karma was struggling to put the straw in, it wouldn’t pierce the seal and it was getting frustrating. She looked around inconspicuously before pulling her dress up on the sides to her hip. Searching her thigh garters pocket for her switchblade
She took out the knife and cut a small hole, then put the straw in. Her tail wagged hesitantly as she took a sip, but once she did she lit up. Her whole body was getting jumpy at the sweetness. Her tail wagged non stop at this
She nodded quickly and finished up her drink rather quickly, wagging her tail at his presence “Y-Yes yes c-can I have an-another!?”
Karma wagged I’m excitement, swaying as she struggled with the straw once more before finding a way. It seemed this made her happy, even she herself forgot the dirty looks she got “Th-Thank you!”
Karma was reading, deep into her book by the time most everyone had gone. She didn’t even realize the store was half empty
Karma turned the page and reached for her drink, she looked at the table confused when she bumped the cup and realized it was empty. She looked around and huffed..taking her book and putting it in her bag
He felt himself getting hot and he stopped for a moment, suddenly really out of breath. It didn't seem like he did a lot but he actually. The fact it was also really hot in here did not help. He was behind the counter, cleaning up there when he collapsed unexpectedly, passing out.
Karmas tail twitched at the noise and she made her way over, looking around the counter and panicking. She jumped up onto the counter and carefully lowered herself down, putting his head on her lap and checking him for a fever or anything that could’ve made h8m collapse
Karma twitched and looked at him with concern, whimpering “A-Are you okay? I th-think you have a fever..”
Karma bit her lip before leaning in, taking him and laying his head back down “Y-You need to rest now, I’ll m-make arrangements for you-your safe return home, but for now you l-leave it to me”
Karma leaned down and kissed his head, petting his head “N-Not to worry, I’ll take care of everything”
