LinkI noticed some comments regarding my ADHD and ADD on this post and would like to make something very clear.
My ADHD and ADD is not self-diagnosed. I was diagnosed with these symptoms by a doctor and am now in therapy + taking medication for it.

LinkThis should NOT be on popular💀 this is a shitty. Ass. DOODLE.
I mean I'm stating something ofc but like its not like I just announced that I'm secretly Elon musk or something😭😭
^^^^ fr- I have been diagnosed with add and cp (cerebral palsy) and some people assume I self diagnosed it cause i have terrible balance and stiff muscles
it gets hella annoying
this is nothing against you, but generally i dont know why people put their diagnoses on their mta or in their bio if it would not directly affect the public or anything, but just regardless? like what is the point, why is this one of the most important things someone should know about you, yknow?? 😭
pppeople should just shut up and not assume thing..? also self dx is the first step to an actual dx. you dont get violently ill and then not trynand find out why
oh THANK GOD im glad i wasnt right fr...i thought you were self diagnoseing like everyone else for attention lmao-
i cant say this enough, but self diagnosis (in the way that i am about explain) is not a bad thing in the first place
in order to get professionally diagnosed with ANYTHING, mental or not, usually you need to have an idea that you MAY have it using heavy research
that means that in no way is true self diagnosis an ACTUAL diagnosis
People can assume they have a cold for example using their symptoms and the knowledge they have on it
many people simply CANT have an official diagnosis, so they self diagnose
they could be wrong, and they know this, so they dont automatically assume its what they have. its never a concrete decision until they get a professional diagnosis
the tiktok form of self diagnose thats common with tourettes and autism is NOT true self diagnosis
in no way am i defending the people who maliciously fake mental illnesses and stuff, does that make sense
