take my words for it, i used to trace art at some point and i learned from that.
to get good, you practice

so with the "copying" that like saying i cant make a fox oc cuase someone 2 day ago made one. so like i was a fan of shovel for a long time, really the oc were the best part. and like and my ocs that are not "copyed" look like a four year old drawing. and i just thought if i made ocs and drew like shovel, i'd get popuarl becuase hes popuarl. and my ocs i really dont use on FA. i just rambble to my dad on walks and thats kind of it. i draw them for fun and or so my dad knows what they look like. i DO MAKE ORIGINAL OCS they just look really bad. i didnt mean to hurt your feeling or something..

A) she is a she, not a he
B) their oc’s are personal, and mean a lot to them. You didn’t need to use the ‘I’m innocent I just wanna be popular’ card. Shovel worked hard to get where she is, and earned her followers by learning.
C) the only reason you’re gonna get popular, is by learning how to create good oc’s. Not by stealing.
D) ‘Imitation is the best form of flattery’ not when they ask you to not do that. Also, you’ve admitted to copying right there.
E) Just apologise, kindly.
F) Learn how to spell and use grammar.
