I'm actually proud of this- why?

Heres some info on him: He's one of the few last aura-powered people on the planet, and he's trying to train others to use the power of aura so it doesn't get forgotten. He's 13 years old, and 5'6 feet tall. His eyes glow blue and sometimes blink blue AND red. He doesn't know why, but every time it happens, it gives him pain, and a few old flashbacks. His backstory: He was born with very little money. His mother worked day and night, and he barely got to see her. His father was the only one who could take care of him while his mother tries to earn money. One day, when his mother was on a day off, they decided to go on a drive and to go grab some food. But in the way there, there was a car crash. Luckily, his seatbelt saved him, but his gather flew out, dying from the blow, and his mother hit hr head hard on the wheel, and went into a coma. Then, his mother died a year later, and he had to live by himself, and took care of himself. To 5is day, he's spending time with his friends, Lily, Wolf, and Ree.
