He's the Crow that would come visit me every day on my school campus next to the outdoor elevator. 11:50 AM. I just miss him. That's all. I've heard a lot of bad news this year but he was always there to cheer me up. Sometimes finding me as I was leaving the campus. He and his Boyfriend, Thimble would sit on the nearest perch and just stare at me until I poured some cat food pellets on the sidewalk. (Yes, I'm like 70% sure they were boyfriends. Male crows are larger than female crows, and they were the same size. In the spring I would see Archy shaking his tail feathers around Thimble, and make a chattering noise deep in his throat.) If I'm not remembered for anything else, I'm sure I'll be remembered as 'that kid who fed the crows every day'. I learned a lot in that time Archy would visit. I haven't seen him since maybe the end of April, and then an osprey couple started building a nest on one of the stadium light fixtures. I think he got scared. I hope he and Thimble are doing okay.
