Most of you probably won’t know this but Durga Puja is a festival celebrated in India, especially in Kolkata where I stay. It’s when Maa Durga, a very powerful and loving goddess , comes to earth which we know as her home, proper home. She was away with her husband known as Shiva , one of the most powerful gods in the Himalayas! She needed a break lol. So yes coming back to what I was saying, she needed to defeat a very ugly and cruel monster or you can say demon known as Mahishashur. And she did just that. She also came with her four children ,Lakhi : the goddess of wealth, Ganesh: the god of wisdom , Saraswati: the goddess of knowledge and Karthik : the god war. You should really search up the story on Wiki! It’s just awesome. And today is the day when we say that Maa Durga got called to come to her home by the people of earth. SEARCH IT UP!
