I guess? it's not set up like normal Earth, and nothing is geographically similar in any country or continent.

i think that there would be a large city/civilisation in the middle of Altain at the top part it might have a more wild and foresty area but in the east there could be a large zombie hotspot or something

Actually the story takes place in a small city in the center of of Altain. Most of the forested areas were cut down, and now are only small patches throughout, and there are no 'hotspots'
