William was walking down the road as he was just now finishing his patrol, still in uniform. He was on his way to a bar as usual every night and wasn't really paying attention to anyone around him, lost in his own thoughts.

William glanced down at her and gave her a brief wave, not really recognizing her from anywhere so he was slightly confused in why this random woman would speak to him cause he's lonely and nobody takes to him. "Hi-"

He couldn't help but get a bit curious and continued to watch her as she walked past, he stopped in front of the bar before turning to her. "Hey- what's with the mask?"

He raised a brow and continued to stare at her, sounding rather blunt. "Why? What's under it?"

He sighed softly and walked over to her. "C'mon, lemme see. Every woman has something beautiful about her, whether it's looks or personality. No need to hide it."

He furrowed his brows and crossed his arms. "Then what is it? Can't be that terrible."

He grumbled softly. "No need to get all tense and shit- just say you don't wanna show me like a normal person-" he took a step back, trying to give her a bit if space.

He frowned. "Why are you crying? Keep do something wrong-?" He seemed genuinely confused on why she had gotten emotional. He partly felt bad but got somewhat annoyed.

He rolled his eyes and walked over, setting a hand on her shoulder. "Aye- calm down-"

He shook his head and furrowed his brows. "Tell me whats wrong-"

He blinked and gave her shoulder a gentle pat. "Ah well- I'm new in this town, from one over. I don't know much about folks around here."

He shrugged. "Not really but-" he sighed softly, still wanting to understand but also wanting to respect her boundaries. "I'm guessing you won't be sharing what it was you did-?"

He grumbled quietly but nodded. "Ah it's alright-" he paused before holding out his big boy hand out to her. "William Steiner- I'm a cop from a few towns over."

His brows raised a bit and he peered down at her, giving her hand a firm shake. "You? A sheriff?" He would be luring if he said he wasn't surprised.

He couldn't help but let out a small snort. "I can't imagine you being a sheriff, not to be rude or anything. But little ol' you?"

He raised a brow. "And how's that? What do you do that you'd consider active?" He crossed his arms.

His head quirked. "Really? Hit me- as hard as you can-" he couldn't help but feel a bit curious.

He shook his head and moved his arms. "I'm sure ill be fine- don't feel bad if you do, I doubt you'll do too much."

His eyes widened and the wind was knocked out of him, the back of his uniform tore a bit and he his his head on the way. He let out a quiet groan and rubbed his head. "Ah- that's gonna leave a bruise.." He grit his teeth and curled up a bit, holding his stomach, grumbling softly. He ignored the ringing in his head and the warm feeling of stick blood trickling through his hair and down the side of his face.
